ABC.AZ reports that Zakir Nuriyev, the president of the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan, stated about this at Baku finance & technology exhibition Fintech Summit.
He noted that in 2023, one of the important tasks will be to optimize the internal process and reduce costs.
"Providing customers with new advanced products and payment services using cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies occupies an important place all over the world. Digitalization of traditional and new payment methods requires additional security measures. According to various sources, during 2022, the global e-commerce lost more than $41 bn due to cybercriminals. This once again shows the importance of cybersecurity measures," he added.
