June 13, Fineko/abc.az. One of the world's largest car builders, Ford, opened a new plant for production of electric vehicles worth almost 2 bn euro in Cologne, western Germany on June 12.

ABC.AZ reports that serial production should begin by the end of 2023.

Work is underway on prototypes. It is planned that the production capacity of Ford's first European plant for production of electric vehicles will be 250,000 cars a year.
