June 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan plans to use digital tools to introduce a check system in the country.

ABC.AZ reports that CBA chairman Taleh Kazimov stated about this at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.

"At the last meeting there were proposals on the use of the "check" practice of Türkiye. We want to cooperate in this direction with one of the international corporations. The check system in Türkiye is very efficient. Unlike Türkiye, we want to use digital tools, and not return to paper media," Kazimov emphasized.
