Minister: 60% of finances already used from budget for restoration of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur

June 6, Fineko/abc.az. Great Leader's dream of returning to Karabakh is being realized.

ABC.AZ reports that Finance Minister Samir Sharifov stated about this during the discussion of the proposed amendments to the Law on State Budget 2023 at today's Milli Majlis meeting.

"The restoration of the territories liberated from occupation in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur is our new mission. President Ilham Aliyev has mobilized the Azerbaijani people to implement this mission. This mission is to implement the program of the Great Return. As a result, these territories will be reintegrated into the economy of Azerbaijan. The foundations of major projects in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur are being laid, some of them have already been completed. The amount of AZN 3 bn in State Budget 2023 was approved for the restoration of these territories, and 60% of those funds were spent," Sharifov said.
