May 18, Fineko/abc.az. Two out of 25 banks operating in Azerbaijan had low interest income in the 1st quarter of this year compared with Q1 of 2022.

ABC.AZ that among them are Günay Bank and the Baku branch of the National Bank of Iran.

The decrease was 5.5% and 12.6%, respectively.

And the remaining 23 banks have increased their interest income. The highest dynamics was recorded on Azər-Türk Bank (2.2-fold), and the lowest on AFB Bank (0.2%).
