Following the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade & Economic Cooperation in Baku, a number of documents on cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan were signed, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the press service of the Government of Belarus. Most of the documents relate to cooperation in the manufacturing sector.

The Belarusian side is interested in increasing the supply of elevators to Azerbaijan, as well as creating their assembly production for appropriate consumption volumes. Thus, Mogilevliftmash (Belarus) and Ulu Geija (Azerbaijan) signed a roadmap for the establishment of an elevator assembly plant in Azerbaijan for 2023-2024.

A dealer agreement has been signed between Belarusian automaker MAZ and Azerbaijani company Turan, providing for the promotion of MAZ products on the Azerbaijani market and its maintenance.
