Bank of England raised rate up to 4.5%

May 11, Fineko/abc.az. The Bank of England has once again raised the rate - by 25 basis points, to 4.5% per annum, ABC.AZ reports with reference to regulator's website.

"At the meeting that ended on May 10, 2023, the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of England voted by a majority of votes (seven to two) to raise the bank rate by 0.25 percentage points, to 4.5%. Two members preferred to keep the bank rate at 4.25%," the site says.
