May 3, Fineko/abc.az. The average rate on consumer loans given for purchase of a car in Azerbaijan in the 1st quarter of 2023 decreased by 1 percentage point (p.p.) to 14% per annum.

ABC.AZ reports that the rates for other types of consumer loans did not change in the 1st quarter of 2023. In particular, the average rate on consumer loans for the purchase of household equipment was 23% and on loans for housing repairs – 23%.

The average rate on consumer loans via credit cards in the national currency remained at 26%. At that, the average interest rates on loans via credit cards in foreign currency are 8%.

The average rate on other types of consumer loans at the end of March 2023 on loans in national currency was 19% and in foreign currency – 5%.
