April 20, Fineko/abc.az. The external liabilities of the banking sector increased by AZN 390.1 million compared with early 2023 and amounted to AZN 2.15 bn, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank.
The change in external liabilities is linked mainly with an increase in the volume of short-term deposits of non-resident legal entities.
This March, the money supply (M2) in manats in a broad sense increased by 0.4% versus early 2023 up to AZN 29.69 million.
