February 27, Fineko/abc.az. An enterprise for the production of protein and organic fertilizers from waste, Provive LLC, has been launched in the Hajigabul Industrial Quarter.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Businesses (KOBIA) that the company is expected to manufacture protein (animal origin) and organic fertilizer Zoohumus from food waste based on innovative technology using Black soldier fly larvae. This will prevent the release of waste, as well as reduce the amount of harmful emissions into the atmosphere. The result will be eco-friendly, natural and protein-rich products.

About 20 employees will work at the enterprise with an investment volume of about AZN 2.3 million. Currently, the production capacity of the enterprise is 15 tons per month, and in the near future it is planned to increase this volume to 30 tons. The company operates on an area of 1 ha.
