I think it is necessary to prohibit the construction of buildings above 5 - maximum of 6 floors, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Nagif Gamzaev.

He added that buildings should be constructed on the basis of seismic insulators, and this equipment should be placed in existing buildings:

"Buildings are being constructed and rented to citizens, having transferred to them the obligation to repair their housing. As a result of the repair, many violations are detected. The necessary poles are put into disrepair by citizens. Companies that construct houses must transfer buildings to residents in completely-renovated form. If we do not control these issues, there is a possibility of a large catastrophe on the territory of Azerbaijan, in particular, in Ganja. I think the relevant authorities will strengthen control over this issue. They will not endanger our citizens in order to earn more money."
