ABC.AZ reports that Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov stated about this, when delivering speech at conference "Heydar Aliyev & the tax system of Azerbaijan: towards new challenges".

He added that if there is no equal approach to the tax system, then such an approach destroys the foundations of the economy.

"The main feature of 2022 is that, despite the positive dynamics of oil and gas prices, 50% of State Budget revenues came from the non-oil sector. Secondly, continuation of growth trajectory of non-oil exports. We are still far from any absolute numbers. We’ve exceeded the $3 bn figure. But this is a small figure compared to our total exports. At that, looking at the dynamics, 3 years ago we talked about $1.7 bn. Our goal is to maintain a high pace. The fact that we pay more attention to the export of services is reflected in our respective economic policy," Jabbarov added.
