January 19, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 January 2023, there were 1,400,824 taxpayers in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy that this indicator is 5.2% more than on 1 January 2022.

87.3% of entrepreneurs are individuals, while 12.7% are legal entities and other organizations. This is respectively by 4.6% (77.5% of the total growth) and 9.6% (22.5% of the total growth) more than a year ago.

The number of commercial organizations grew by 10.5%.
