January 16, Fineko/abc.az. The inflation rate in Israel by the end of 2022 has reached its highest in the last 20 years.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Central Bureau of Statistics of Israel, at the end of last year - from October to December - the consumer price index increased by 0.3%. Annual inflation by the end of 2022 made up 5.3%, according to the statistical summary.

This is the highest figure since 2002. Then the annual inflation was 6.3% and since then has never exceeded the threshold of 3.9%.
