January 5, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani government predicts gold production at the level of 3,104 kg in 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that according to government forecasts, country’s gold extraction will increase to 3,123.5 kg in 2024, to 3,141.5 kg in 2025, and to 3,154.5 kg in 2026.

Thus, in 2023-2026, gold production in Azerbaijan will grow by 1.6%.

The gold extraction for Jan-Nov 2022 amounted to 3,001.5 kg (6.1% less versus Jan-Nov 2021).

Gold and silver mining in Azerbaijan is currently carried out by two companies - Anglo Asian Mining PLC and AzerGold.
