In accordance with Article 9.1 of the Law on Labor Pensions, persons engaged in underground work, in special branches of art, regardless of their last place of work, as well as in work with particularly harmful and difficult working conditions, have the right to an old-age labor pension on preferential terms on working conditions within the required conditions.

ABC.AZ reports that the list of industries, professions, positions and indicators that give the right to an old-age pension on preferential terms has been approved.

The fact that the positions in this list are identical in the nature of work related to existing positions in a number of enterprises, but differ in name, ultimately leads to the fact that certain persons cannot receive the right to a pension on preferential terms.

According to the resolution, the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection will ensure that the tariff and qualification reference books are brought into line with this resolution within six months and will inform the Cabinet Ministers.
