December 26, Fineko/abc.az. Winter holidays begin in Azerbaijan this weekend.
ABC.AZ reports that in connection with the celebration of the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the New Year on 31 December five consecutive days will be non-working in the country.
December 31 – the Day of World Azerbaijanis’ Solidarity and January 1-2 — the New Year are declared festive.
In Azerbaijan, public holidays and holidays are regulated in accordance with the Labor Code.
Accordingly, since December 31, 2022 and January 1, 2023 coincide with Saturday and Sunday, according to the legislation, working days and weekends will be changed, and January 3 and 4, 2023 will be non-working.
Thus, on New Year's holidays, 5 consecutive days will be non-working.
