December 23, Fineko/abc.az. In the last 19 years, Azerbaijan's GDP has increased 3.4-fold, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Vusal Gasimli, the executive director of the Center for Analysis & Communication of Economic Reforms.

"Compared to 2003, GDP production grew 3.1-fold in the non-oil and gas sector, by 2.7 times in the industrial production, adn by 3.6 times in the non-oil and gas industry in 2021. Over the years, significant growth has occurred in other areas of the economy: agricultural output doubled, cargo transportation surged by 1.8 times, passenger transportation by 1.3 times, and the volume of information and communication services by 15.4 times," Gasimli said.
