December 16, Fineko/abc.az. The annual volume of tax revenues exceeded AZN 15 bn manats for the first time.

ABC.AZ reports that as of 15 December the tax revenues to the State Budget have exceeded 15 billion manats ($8.82 million) for the first time, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote on Twitter.

“Meanwhile, the tax revenues from the non-oil-gas sector have amounted to 7.9 billion manats ($4.65 billion). Record high indicator is the result of progressive economic reforms, high-level tax, provision of efficient tax administration and a favorable business environment, and development in the tax culture in the society. We express our gratitude to the honest taxpayers and employees of State Tax Service who fulfill their obligations honestly,” the minister tweeted.
