December 13, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is determining the procedure for connecting construction facilities to the electric grid.

ABC.AZ reports that this was reflected in the proposed amendment to the Law on Electric Power Industry, which was discussed at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Natural Resources, Energy & Ecology.

According to the document, construction objects are connected to the electric grid or receive additional power on the basis of a connection agreement, and the customer is given a technical condition that is part of the contract.

The procedure for calculating the required capacity for construction projects is approved by an institution determined by the relevant executive authority.

For the connection of construction objects to the electric grid, the customer pays the power supply company or the state electric power company for the connection service in accordance with the new article.

For connecting subscribers and construction facilities with the required capacity of up to 150 kW to the existing 0.4 kV network, the customer pays for connection services, and development of the power supply project and construction & installation work are carried out by the power supply company.
