December 12, Fineko/abc.az. Data on the number of contract employees in the city of Ganja for Jan-Sept 2022 have been published.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Ganja Statistics Department, the number of contract employees for the reported term amounted to 44,277 people, including 27,444 people (62.0%) in the state sector and 16,833 people (38.0%) in the private sector of the economy.

16.86% of hired workers were employed in the production sector, of which 15.05% in industry (including 0.02% in mining, 8.62% in processing, 2.35% in electric power, gas and steam production, distribution and supply, 3.9% in water supply, purification and processing waste), 1.04% in construction, 0.77% in agriculture, hunting and forestry. Among those who were employed in the service sector, 24.77% worked in education, and 24.04% worked in trade; repair of vehicles, 12.16% - in the provision of medical and social services to the population, 6.32% - in the field of public administration and defense; social security, 5.87% - in transport and warehousing, 4.07% were employed in the field of recreation, entertainment and art, 2.12% - in professional, scientific and technical activities, 1.6% - in finance and insurance, 1.11% were employed in the field of information and communications, 0.4% - providing administrative and auxiliary services, 0.24% provision of services in other areas, 0.24% - in the field of real estate transactions, 0.2% – in the field of tourist accommodation and catering.
