December 12, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 11 months more than half of retail turnover in Azerbaijan – 51.7% - was spent on the purchase of food products, ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee.

Country’s retail trade turnover amounted to AZN 45.1 bn for Jan-Nov 2022 (AZN 38.327 bn for Jan-Nov 2021).
In other words, compared with Jan-Nov 2021, the retail trade turnover grew by AZN 6.78 bn or by 17.7%.
Out of AZN 6.8 bn increased versus 2021, most part – AZN 5 bn accounted for food expenses.
