December 5, Fineko/abc.az. Georgia's economy is recovering at a high pace - real GDP growth in October 2022 made up 8.3% versus the same month of 2021.
ABC.AZ reports that according to the Sakstat National Statistical Service of Georgia, the average real growth rate for the first 10 months since the beginning of the year is 10%.
After the economy declined by 6.8% in 2020, fairly rapid recovery process has been underway since April 2021, which manifests itself in almost all economic parameters. This is an increase in exports and imports, money transfers and an increase in the turnover of enterprises.
According to the updated data, Georgia's economic growth made up 10.5% in 2021.
According to Sakstat, in October 2022, such spheres as construction, transport and warehousing, financial and insurance activities, mining, hotels and restaurants, art, entertainment and recreation made a significant contribution to the growth of country's economy.
In October 2022, the Georgian economy showed downward trend in growth rates in real estate transactions, as well as in the manufacturing sector.
