October 11, Fineko/abc.az. Moldova will need 300 million cu m of natural gas in the next two months, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Moldovan Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilica, who is on a visit to Baku.

According to the PM, both short-term and long-term solutions are being considered in connection with Moldova's energy supply.

The construction of the Trans-Adriatic Gas Pipeline (TAP), which transports Azerbaijani natural gas to Europe, was completed in October 2020. The total length of the TAP is 878 km, including 550 km running through the northern part of Greece, 215 km through the territory of Albania, 105 km along the bottom of the Adriatic Sea and 8 km on the territory of Italy.

Azerbaijani gas supplies via TAP to consumers in Italy, Greece and Bulgaria began on 31 December 2020.
