Inflation rates in Turkey have grown

September 5, Fineko/abc.az. The rate of inflation growth in Turkey continued in August. Thus, in August, annual inflation in the country reached 80.21%, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Turkish Statistical Service (TUIK). Inflation has risen to the highest level in the last 24 years. In monthly comparison, the price increase was 1.46%.

The data show that inflation continues to rise. The annual core inflation in August was 66.08%.

In August, the highest annual increase in the main groups of expenses was in the transport group – 116.87%. Household goods rose by 92.02%, food and soft drinks – by 90.25%.
