August 25, Fineko/abc.az. Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are discussing the possible ways of transporting Kazakh oil.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to APA that this was announced on Thursday at a briefing by the Deputy Chairman of the Board for Economics and Finance of the National Company of Kazakhstan Kazmunaigas (KMG) Dauren Karabayev.

"Discussions with the Azerbaijani side on the possible transportation of Kazakh oil are being held at various levels, including on the level of the state and national companies. Details still need to be agreed. We will report in more detail upon reaching agreements with the Azerbaijani side," he said.

Karabaev recalled that Azerbaijan has two oil pipelines: Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and Baku-Supsa, "which can potentially be used to transport Kazakhstani oil."
