August 22, Fineko/abc.az. Russia became China's largest oil supplier in July.

According to ABC.AZ, China purchased 7.6 million tons of oil from Russia in July, increasing purchases by 7.15% compared to the same month in 2021. Average daily oil sales from Russia to China in July amounted to 1.68 million barrels.

Saudi Arabia became the second largest supplier of oil to China with 6.54 million tons (1.54 million barrels per day).

Russia sold 4.4 million tons of oil to China in the first seven months of the year, which is 48.45% more than a year earlier. Exports to Saudi Arabia dropped by 1%, to 49.84 million tons.
