August 4, Fineko/abc.az. During the 1st half of 2022, about $229 million of operating expenses and $791 million of capital expenditures spent on the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) operation, ABC.AZ informs with BP report for the 1st half of 2022.

Over Jan-Jun 2022, the bp-performed project Azeri Central East (ACE), along with other activities, progressed in accord with the plan.

By the end of Q2, work on the ACE project was completed by 75%. Currently, the work on the project is at the highest level, and 5,000 people are involved in it in Baku, Europe and the UK, most of whom are citizens of Azerbaijan.

In general, engineering and design, procurement and production & installation work on the project continue in accordance with the schedule for obtaining the first production from ACE in 2023.
