July 22, Fineko/abc.az. The concepts of "smart city" and "smart village" will be approved in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in Action Plan "Socio-Economic Development Strategy 2022-26".

The document says that the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport, together with the relevant bodies, should submit for approval the draft concept of "smart city" and "smart village" for 2022-23.

The concepts of "smart city" and "smart village" as well as the introduction of the practice of "mobility as a service" (MaaS) for the public transport should be approved until 2023.
