July 21, Fineko/abc.az. The National Bank of Ukraine adjusted on Thursday the official hryvnia exchange rate, lowering it from UAH 29.2 per dollar to UAH 36.56.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the NBU that this step is linked with changes in the current "fundamental characteristics of the Ukrainian economy and the strengthening of the dollar against other currencies".

"This will increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian producers, bring the exchange rate conditions closer for different groups of businesses and the population and support the stability of the economy in war conditions," in it informed.
