Netflix lost almost 1 million subscribers in 2nd quarter

July 20, Fineko/abc.az. Netflix streaming service lost almost a million paid subscribers in the 2nd quarter of 2022

ABC.AZ informs that company's analysts predicted losses of 2 million users.

According to company's quarterly reports, the company forecasted that by the end of Q2 the losses would amount to 2 million paid subscribers. In fact, their number has decreased from 221.64 million to 220.67 million.

The company expects that by the end of Q3 of 2022, the number of paid subscribers of the service will grow by about 1 million people.

Neftlix’s income exceeded $7.97 bn and profit - $1.44 bn for Q2.

In the 1st quarter of 2022 the company reported revenue of $7.86 bn and profit of $1.59 bn.
