June 22, Fineko/abc.az. In May 2022, the total loan portfolio of banks (loans given to customers) increased by AZN 257.9 million and reached AZN 18.98 bn.

Thus, in May, the business loans grew by AZN 85.7 million to AZN 10.4 bn, consumer loans by AZN 134.8 million to AZN 5.75 bn, mortgage loans by AZN 37.4 million to AZN 2.608 bn, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank.

In the first 5 months of 2022 (Jan-May), the total loan portfolio of banks increased by AZN 1.439 bn, including business loans by AZN 674 million, consumer loans by AZN 557 million, mortgage loans by AZN 208.2 million.
