June 20, Fineko/abc.az. Russia has restricted the shipment of oil from Kazakhstan through the port in Novorossiysk.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that this happened against the background of a number of harsh statements by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
In particular, the Kazakh leader made statements unexpected for the Kremlin, saying that Kazakhstan does not recognize the DPR and the LPR, because it considers them “quasi-state structures”.
"If the right of a nation to self-determination is realized all over the world, then instead of 193 states, more than 500-600 states will appear on the Earth. It will be chaos," Tokayev emphasized.
After these statements, Russia suspended the supply of Kazakh oil.
