Central Bank held a meeting - a decision made on discount rate

June 17, Fineko/abc.az. The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan held a meeting in connection with the parameters of the interest rate corridor.

ABC.AZ reports that the lower threshold of the interest rate corridor is kept at 6.25% and the upper one is 9.25%.

For the second time in a row, the CBA keeps the discount rate at 7.75%.

This decision comes into force from today.

CBA’s next decision on the parameters of the interest rate corridor will be made public on 29 July, in connection with which a press conference will be held.
