Two of the largest Wall Street banks to refuse to deal with Russian debt securities

June 14, Fineko/abc.az. Two of the largest Wall Street banks - JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs - decided to refuse to service transactions with Russian debt obligations on the secondary market.

ABC.AZ reports that two Wall Street investment banks - JPMorgan Chase&Co and Goldman Sachs Group - will refuse to process transactions with Russian sovereign and corporate debt.

A representative of Goldman Sachs said that he had suspended these operations.

It was noted that American investors can sell or hold Russian bonds, but not buy new ones.
