Vugar Bayramov: About AZN 14 bn to be directed for social sphere this year

June 7, Fineko/abc.az. MP Vugar Bayramov stressed that the amendments to the State Budget are to be prepared.

As reported by ABC.AZ MP noted that more specific discussions in this direction will be possible after the draft amendments are submitted to the parliament.

"At that, it is possible that given the special attention of the country's leadership to further strengthening the social security system in Azerbaijan, more finances will be allocated for this direction. On the other hand, it is expected that the amount of funds allocated for further expansion of economic activity will be increased. In general, according to the current approved budget document, for the first time in 2022, the share of social expenditures in total budget expenditures will be more than 45%," Bayramov said.

The MP believes that the direction of 46.5% of budget expenditures to the social sphere indicates the priority of social security issues: "This year about AZN 14 bn will be allocated to the social sphere alone."
