June 6, Fineko/abc.az. "Turkey is currently ranking the 1st on the number of tourists coming to Azerbaijan,” ABC.AZ reports, quoting Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau’s deputy chairman of board Bahruz Askerov.
According to Askerov, for Jan-Mar 2022 the quantity of tourists from Turkey totaled 116,243 people.
He emphasized that Turkey was ahead of Russia, from where 115,468 tourists arrived simultaneously.
Stressing that Turkey and Azerbaijan have very good relations both at the inter-structural and state level, Askerov noted that now great opportunities are being created for doing business between the two countries.
