June 2, Fineko/abc.az. The Law on State Budget 2022 will be revised this month, ABC.AZ reports, citing Vahid Akmadov, a member of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.

"The price of a barrel of oil on the world market has exceeded $100. There are additional finances. So, there is a need to revise the budget," he said.

According to Ahmadov, accelerated restoration and reconstruction works are underway in the occupation-liberated territories of Azerbaijan: "Additional finances may be required to accelerate those works.

President Ilham Aliyev keeps this process in the spotlight, often visits these territories. Most of the ministers also work in these territories."

"Besides, during the changes to the budget, additional finances may be allocated for the social sphere," the MP added.
