Food exports grew by 6.2% against same month of 2021

May 31, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan’s exports totaled $3.8 bn as of April 2022, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the May issue of the Export Review.

The growth of exports in the non-oil sector made up 22% up to $238.3 million.

Food exports increased by 6.2% in April 2022 (versus the same month of 2021) up to $51.4 million and non-food products by 27.2% up to $186.9 million.

In April 2022, Turkey rose to 1st place in the list of countries with the largest volume of exports of no-oil sector goods ($78.5 million).

The Russian Federation was in 2nd place in the list ($42.3 million), Switzerland was in 3rd ($17.7 million).

In April 2022, refined cotton ($30.3 million) was in the 1st place in the list of exported goods of the non–oil sector, tomatoes ($19.4 million) were in 2nd place, and gold ($16.9 million) was in 3rd place.
