May 10, Fineko/abc.az. The People's Bank of China (Central Bank) lowered the yuan (the official name of the national currency) to the dollar by 235 points - to 6.7134 yuans.
ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in a message posted on the regulator's website.
Regulator’s statistics shows that this is the minimum value since 30 October 2020.
For the third working day in a row, the yuan is getting cheaper against the dollar. In 2020, against the background of the COVID-19 pandemic, the exchange rate of the yuan against the dollar declined.
