European banks lost a lot of money with start of special operation in Ukraine

May 10, Fineko/abc.az. The largest European banks lost 5 bn euro after the start of the special operation in Ukraine.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that Italian bank UniCredit faced the biggest losses.

This bank lost 1.3 bn euro. Among the leaders in losses are ING (Netherlands) with loss of 834 million euro and banking group Intesa Sanpaolo (Italy), which lost 801 million euro.

They are followed by French companies Credit Agricole (604 million euro), BNP Paribas (433 million euro) and Societe Generale (354 million euro).
