May 5, Fineko/abc.az. 55 independent auditors and 142 audit organizations (including 4 big four and 14 audit organizations using trademarks of foreign legal entities) received the right to carry out audit activities in Azerbaijan in 2021.
ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in the report of the Chamber of Auditors.
Last year, 5 audit organizations and 4 independent auditors were deprived of the right to carry out audit activities on the basis of their statements, and 6 audit organizations and 2 independent auditors – by decision of the Council.
Also, the right of 5 audit organizations and 1 free auditor for auditing activities was restored, the right for auditing activities has been granted to 19 audit organizations and 8 independent auditors, the validity period of the right for auditing activities has expired for 1 audit organization and 1 independent auditor.
