Tair Kerimli proposes to cut interest rate on bank loans

April 26, Fineko/abc.az. At today's Milli Majlis meeting deputy chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights Tair Kerimli raised a question ABC.AZ reports that the MP brought up for discussion the issue of writing off credit debts to banks.

The annual interest rate on loans in Azerbaijani banks should not be 20%, but 5-6%: "People give everything they earn to banks. Bank loans and their interest rates are one of the main problems today."

The MP also proposed to write off the fines imposed by Azerbaijani banks.
