April 25, Fineko/abc.az. In the 3rd quarter of this year the list of Russian financial organizations wishing to issue cards of Chinese payment system UnionPay will be expanded.

ABC.AZ reports that Absolut Bank expects to launch the issue in the 3rd quarter.

Also, large Russian banks - Rosbank, Ak Bars Bank, Home Credit, etc. - they plan to launch the issue of UnionPay cards by the fall. The next stage is the issuance of cobaging cards with the Mir payment system.

Currently, UnionPay cards are issued in 10 financial institutions of Russia, including RSHB, GPB, Zenit, Post Bank, Solidarity, Bank Saint Petersburg, RRDB, Primsotsbank and CB Primorye.
