April 18, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st quarter of 2022, the administrative expenses of Bank BTB decreased sharply – by 42%.

If in the 1st quarter of 2021 the administrative expenses of Bank BTB amounted to AZN 3.297 million, then in the 1st quarter of 2022 this figure decreased to AZN 1.913 million.

Administrative expenses consist mainly of employees' salaries, office rent and household expenses. A reduction in these costs is usually considered an indicator of bank's transition to savings.

As a result, in the 1st quarter, the bank suffered an operating loss of AZN 93,000. That is, the income from the bank's activities was not enough to reimburse its expenses. Over the same period of 2021, this figure amounted to AZN 59,000.
