April 15, Fineko/abc.az. Kremlin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that Russia intends to continue the expansion of the ruble to be used for energy exports. But he stressed that it is too early to talk about the details or the date of the issue.
ABC.AZ reports that Peskov stated about this in an interview with journalists.
"Vladimir Putin proposed a systematic and step-by-step approach to expanding the use of local currency. The role of the national currency in other export items, as well as the payment demand in rubles for Russian natural gas exports should increase," Peskov said.
