Russians' interest in Turkish banks has increased – money transfers launched

April 8, Fineko/abc.az. Since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, Russians have transferred about $3 billion to Turkish banks.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant information is reflected in the report of the Central Bank of Turkey. Some economists in Turkey have made an unexpected statement on the occasion.

It was noted that the transferred amount is the deposits of Russian citizens.

At first, these funds are invested in Turkish banks, and then appear on the accounts of the Central Bank. The money was most often transferred to the Central Bank of Turkey by employees of companies Yandex, Avito, Tinkoff and DataArt.
