April 7, Fineko/abc.az. Japan's foreign exchange reserves fell more than by 2% for March.
ABC.AZ reports that this is the biggest reduction in the history of the country.
So, as of 31 March, Japan's foreign exchange reserves amounted to about $1.4 trillion.
The reduction in stocks is primarily linked with the depreciation of US government securities, in which Tokyo stores part of its reserves.
The Ministry of Finance of Japan stated that the reduction of foreign exchange reserves was also affected by the depreciation of the euro against the dollar.
