Number of bank cards has increased in Azerbaijan

March 29, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank has released some indicators of the banking system for Jan-Feb.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the CBA’s report, the number of payment cards in circulation in the banking system at the end of February increased by 255,000 cards (against last month) and amounted to 11.528 million cards.

Thus, compared with the same term of 2021, this indicator grew by 20.3%.

Growth on debit cards made up 19.1% and on credit cards 29.4%.
