Central Bank of Azerbaijan has published a report

March 29, Fineko/abc.az. The banks received net profit of AZN 107.7 million and operating profit of AZN 161.8 million, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Central Bank.

CBA’s report says that over Jan-Feb 2022 the banks paid income tax in the amount of AZN 29.5 million.

"This February, the money supply (M2) in a broad sense in manats increased by 17.5% (versus Jan-Feb 2021) up to AZN 23.01 bn. The external liabilities of the banking sector increased by AZN 271.2 million since the beginning of the year up to AZN 1.334 bn. This change in external liabilities is linked mainly with an increase in current accounts of non-resident individuals," the CBA said in a statement.
